About the role
- Establishes and manages partnerships with globally located suppliers, focusing on Electrical parts
- Manages strong relationships and cultivates winning partnerships with all suppliers
- Negotiates with suppliers to receive the best overall cost, payment term, service, and delivery
- Works cross-functionally with the team located globally in launching new products or components
- Evaluates, measures and reports Supplier performance metrics and scorecards
- Develops, implements, and maintains a product inventory strategy that supports company's supply chain
Requirements
- 7-10 years sourcing experience, preferably in high volume manufacturing/consumer products
- 3+ years of sourcing experience in electronic & electro-mechanical parts such as semiconductors and PCBAs
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or business
- A Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or other related professional certification completed or in progress is desired
- Proficiency in English, written and verbal, Spanish or Mandarin language skills is preferred
