Payroll Coordinator
ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions. Lead processor for one of the Canada payroll/benefits and biweekly/monthly reporting .
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead processor for one of the Canada payroll/benefits and biweekly/monthly reporting
- Assist with the US payroll entry, timecard review and reporting
- Process certified and prevailing wage reports
- Respond to separation requests, employment and/or benefit verifications, garnishments and other mail
- Crosstrain within the department to provide backup coverage
- Provide customer service to employees regarding time and attendance, benefits and payroll questions
- Other general HR/PR functions as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration
- 2–4 years of experience in payroll and benefits management
- Detail oriented
- Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential information
- Strong time management and prioritizing skills
- Good customer service skills
- Strong PC knowledge including Excel
- Working knowledge of ADP and Payworks desired but not required
- Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player.
