About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare accurate door and hardware specifications and schedules
- Interpret construction drawings and project requirements
- Ensure compliance with building codes, NZ standards, and fire regulations
- Provide technical support to sales teams, architects, and contractors
- Generate project quotations and manage pricing within guidelines
- Maintain accurate project data in CRM systems
- Support project discussions and provide product clarification
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and adoption of AAOS tools
- Support non‑specified discretionary projects generated from lead‑generation tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience in a related role (specifications, construction, or similar)
- Understanding of door hardware, architectural, or construction industry
- Ability to read and interpret building drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and compliance requirements
- Strong communication skills, especially in a remote team environment
- Comfortable working independently and managing your time
- Experience with specification, CRM, or estimation tools
- GAI or DHI qualifications are a plus, but not essential.
