About the role

  • Spend approximately two-thirds of the day in the field providing job estimates (service, remodels and installations)
  • Verifying required materials for residential orders
  • Promoting additional features and accessories
  • Generally representing the company to potential and existing residential customers

Requirements

  • Proven track record in residential sales
  • Proven ability to develop relationships with customers via phone and in person
  • Minimum High School Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of inside sales/customer service experience
  • 1+ years of B2B sales
  • Must be proficient with MS Office applications, i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful residential sales experience
  • Extensive experience and product knowledge relating to the installation, service and repair of residential door opening systems
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (in English)– in person, telephone and written skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of integrity
  • Customer-centric - always representing the company in a positive manner
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Clean and neat in appearance
