About the role
- Interface with customers, field technicians as well as other departments and management level associates.
- Focus on customer service.
- Grow local services business by developing new account opportunities.
- Maintain existing relationships with existing customers within the territory.
- Maintain open communication with customers regarding work schedule and meeting expectations.
- Meet monthly and quarterly service sales quota.
- Meet monthly and quarterly service quoting quota.
- Understand the company’s quoting and CRM process and systems.
- Submit forecast and reports in a timely legible manner.
- Strong communication, time management, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Call on local end users continually (in-person visits).
- Maintain relationships with major customers.
- Foster relationships with new prospects.
- Provide customers with all requested service reports.
- Understanding of AAADM Certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of door hardware/electric door hardware.
- Involved in any/all customer complaints and resolution process.
- Knowledge of competition's pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Join and maintain professional associations to enhance selling opportunities.
- Complete understanding of workflow with Dispatch/Administrative Assistant.
Requirements
- Marketing or business degree preferred.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a business development/sales environment.
- Must demonstrate a high level of organization.
- Ability to work well within a group in a team environment.
- Self-motivating, problem-solving, capable of managing multiple projects.
- Professional appearance.
