About the role

  • Interface with customers, field technicians as well as other departments and management level associates.
  • Focus on customer service.
  • Grow local services business by developing new account opportunities.
  • Maintain existing relationships with existing customers within the territory.
  • Maintain open communication with customers regarding work schedule and meeting expectations.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly service sales quota.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly service quoting quota.
  • Understand the company’s quoting and CRM process and systems.
  • Submit forecast and reports in a timely legible manner.

  • Call on local end users continually (in-person visits).
  • Maintain relationships with major customers.

  • Understanding of AAADM Certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of door hardware/electric door hardware.
  • Involved in any/all customer complaints and resolution process.
  • Knowledge of competition's pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Join and maintain professional associations to enhance selling opportunities.
  • Complete understanding of workflow with Dispatch/Administrative Assistant.

Requirements

  • Marketing or business degree preferred.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a business development/sales environment.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of organization.
  • Ability to work well within a group in a team environment.
  • Self-motivating, problem-solving, capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Professional appearance.
