  • Be accountable for delivering good design and a quality deliverable
  • Expected to demonstrate steady progress on tasks assigned
  • Owned independent small-to-medium features all the way through from technical design to launch
  • Capable of prioritizing the work in front of them and able to make forward progress
  • Increased participation in technical design process with guidance from senior engineers

Requirements

  • An Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of related experience
  • Able to compile a Test Plan from a product specification
  • Hands on experience on web automation testing experience with selenium
  • Exposure to mobile testing using Apium is added advantage
  • Able to define Test Cases which will test specific features / performance requirements
  • Ability to analyze customer issues and assist in Defect Triage
  • Defines Test Entry Requirements
  • Able to come up with different use case scenarios for a feature
  • Able to design and execute non-functional test cases
  • Able to use a range of technologies for testing
  • Able to identify simple patterns and trends
  • Investigates problems and opportunities in existing processes and contributes to solutions
  • Understands the TDD methodology and works with stakeholders to validate the final test plan.
  • Communicates well and capable of delivering feedback to peers and their manager.
  • When given a task with unclear requirements demonstrates that all assumptions are vetted before work starts to reduce the need for re-work.
  • Understand how their work fits into the larger picture for their team, and use this to identify conflicting requirements to their tech lead and product manager.
