About the role
- You develop high-performance and reliable test systems.
- You define test requirements for electronic components, create technical specifications, and define the system architecture for both hardware and software.
- You are responsible for the design and implementation of mechatronic test rigs, including electrical planning and mechanical design.
- You program and design the test software, implement test sequences, develop signal processing solutions, and integrate databases to ensure traceability.
- You commission the test systems you develop and provide ongoing support for them.
- You analyze existing systems for weaknesses, reduce cycle times through automation, and drive technical standards for future generations of test equipment.
Requirements
- Vocational technical training (e.g., electronics technician, automation technician) or similar.
- Engineering degree at FH/HF level or comparable qualification desirable.
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering.
- Experience in process automation and control engineering is an advantage.
- Good programming skills in a high-level language.
- LabVIEW and PLC knowledge advantageous.
- Knowledge of CAD and 3D printing processes desired.
- Fluent German (spoken and written) and good English skills.
- You enjoy working independently and are a flexible, communicative, and team-oriented individual.
