About the role

  • Implement the sales strategy and manage the territory with revenue responsibility
  • Create tour/route plans based on sales-oriented and economic factors
  • Acquire new customers and maintain and expand existing customer relationships
  • Take on-site measurements, participate in tender processes, and supervise projects on site through to handover/acceptance
  • Prepare quotations and conduct negotiations through to closing the sale
  • Maintain customer and sales data in the CRM system and perform reporting

Requirements

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial vocational training, preferably in building materials or building components
  • Several years of experience and proven success in field sales and new customer acquisition
  • Knowledge and experience in reading construction/architectural plans
  • Basic knowledge of the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
  • Strong technical affinity and basic technical understanding
  • Enjoyment of sales and the independent development of a customer base
  • Proactive, initiative-driven personality
  • Confident and persuasive appearance
