About the role

  • Operate in retail and wholesale channels to drive brand distribution and market penetration;
  • Maximize the potential of the sales team, including sales representatives and CLT-employed sales staff;
  • Develop sales plans and ensure delivery of results in coordination with National Sales Management;
  • Achieve growth and meet sales targets while successfully managing the team;
  • Implement market coverage plans, expand the customer base and support new product launches;
  • Hire and onboard sales representatives and salespeople;
  • Strong ability to train and monitor the performance of representatives and sales staff;
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with customers and understanding their needs;
  • Present sales, revenue and expense reports and provide realistic forecasts to Sales Management;
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts and stay aware of new products and competitor activity;
  • Manage points of sale (POS) to maximize customers' sell-out;
  • Design sales campaigns and execute them in accordance with established rules and ASSA ABLOY culture;
  • Provide guidance on brand share growth tactics in the region;
  • Monitor, follow up and share experiences with the team and National Managers;

Requirements

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in the area;
  • Proven successful experience as a sales coordinator, consistently meeting or exceeding targets;
  • Ability to lead and influence;
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization;
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning through to closing;
  • Strong commercial acumen and sector experience; knowledge of construction materials retail and the construction industry is a plus; analytical profile for rapid decision-making.
