About the role

  • Support local territory efforts to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions in a team selling environment
  • Serve as the territory’s "go-to" expert on applications, technology, installation, and deployment of EM and EAC products/systems
  • Certify integrators’ sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training and ongoing assessments
  • Train and support the channel, influencers, and internal personnel
  • Facilitate deployments of product test beds at integrator facilities, trial installations at end user locations, and initial live installations with EAC integration
  • Collaborate and develop plans to increase sales in the assigned territory and strategize with team to win product content
  • Develop wiring diagrams, represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings, conduct site surveys and audits
  • Troubleshoot EM and EAC product-related issues, preferably in collaboration with integrators

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and understand specifications/facility standards; industry-related technical and sales aptitude
  • Ability to travel to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a home office environment or while traveling
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material
  • College/University degree preferred (architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar) or minimum high school/GED diploma
  • Minimum of 2–3 years industry-related experience in field sales with EM/EAC/EMAC products and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
  • Working knowledge of industry-related softwares is a plus
