About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contact insurance companies for status of claim and appeal submissions, moving accounts through the insurance carriers’ claim processing system
- Check client systems and payer portals for status when feasible
- Assist with special client projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong healthcare industry knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot and remedy claim submission errors
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-Oriented and Flexible
- Creative Problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 insurance follow-up experience preferred
- Previous work from home experience
