About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop annual FCC Training Plan.
- Maintain Individual Training Records for FCC Staff.
- Coordinate with DoW/NDMS/FEMA/HHS/BUMED on training requirements.
- Identify training gaps and corrective actions.
- Coordinate Reserve and Active Component integration training.
- Ensure compliance with BUMEDINST 3440.10C and applicable DoW Directives.
- Experience coordinating and evaluating emergency management exercises (tabletop, full-scale).
- Capability to produce exercise training materials, after-action reports, and exercise planning packages per federal standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Emergency Management, Security Studies, Public Policy, or related discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience; OR in lieu of degree, 10 years of progressively responsible experience.
- Successful completion of the Federal Coordinating Center (FCC) Course within the last 3 years or enroll within 180 days upon onboarding.
- Contractors performing FCC functions under this contract will be U.S. Citizens and are required to obtain and maintain favorable a Tier 3 security clearance with SECRET Eligibility.
- SECRET access must be granted to access SIPRNET and attend meetings classified at the SECRET level.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
