About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the firm’s U.S. social media strategy, including organic, paid, leadership channels, lawyer training, and employee advocacy
  • Own the U.S. content calendar and manage end-to-end planning, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content
  • Advise on social media best practices and deliver owned and paid content for U.S. marketing and communications initiatives
  • Monitor internal and external news to identify relevant items for U.S. social media channels
  • Report on channel performance, analyze monthly trends, and apply insights to improve digital communications
  • Lead agency relationships, brief agencies, and develop U.S. content and paid media strategies
  • Deliver and manage an employee advocacy strategy and related tools across the U.S.
  • Coordinate with the global Digital Communications team across Asia, Australia, and EMEA
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Be present during regularly scheduled working hours and as needed, consistent with attendance expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In-depth knowledge of social media and broader digital marketing
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn and ability to train others in person and online
  • Ability to produce quick, clean, engaging copy under time pressure
  • Strong sub-editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to apply style, brand, and tone-of-voice guidance
  • Ability to develop strategic content plans for target audiences
  • Experience managing agency relationships and briefings
  • Experience leading multichannel campaigns involving social media, email, public relations, PPC, and display
  • Excellent communication and networking skills across organizational levels
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity across U.S. and global offices
  • At least six years of experience in digital communications or social media
  • Experience developing, delivering, and reporting on social media strategies and processes
  • B2B or professional services experience preferred, ideally in legal or financial services
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with paid social campaigns, including LinkedIn Campaign Manager or comparable platforms
  • Experience managing or rolling out an employee advocacy strategy
  • Design skills and ability to capture or source photographic material
  • Experience creating visual assets with brand templates and briefing internal design teams
  • Experience with PPC, CRM systems, email marketing, Google Analytics, GA4, SEM, SEO, GEO, and display advertising
  • Experience with Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Oktopost, or Sprinklr
  • Experience with Haiilo and DSMN8
  • Proficiency with Canva or comparable brand-template tools
