About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supporting offshore ROV tooling operations and subsea intervention projects from mobilisation through to demobilisation
  • Commissioning, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of ROV tooling equipment offshore and on client sites
  • Diagnosing and resolving hydraulic, mechanical, and electro-hydraulic equipment faults to minimise downtime
  • Providing technical support and expertise to offshore personnel, clients, and project teams
  • Preparing tooling packages and ensuring all equipment is fully operational and deployment-ready
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of tooling systems, operational processes, and service delivery
  • Mentoring and supporting developing ROV Tooling Technicians through hands-on guidance and knowledge sharing
  • Maintaining accurate technical documentation while ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements and industry standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Qualification in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience supporting the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of ROV tooling equipment
  • Strong knowledge of ROV tooling systems, including torque tools, valve packs, cutters, LAOTs, and IHPUs
  • Sound understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, including fault diagnosis and schematic interpretation
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, documentation, and operational procedures
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform effectively in demanding offshore environments
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients, offshore crews, and project teams
  • Experience with electrical systems and fault-finding would be advantageous
