About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting offshore ROV tooling operations and subsea intervention projects from mobilisation through to demobilisation
Commissioning, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of ROV tooling equipment offshore and on client sites
Diagnosing and resolving hydraulic, mechanical, and electro-hydraulic equipment faults to minimise downtime
Providing technical support and expertise to offshore personnel, clients, and project teams
Preparing tooling packages and ensuring all equipment is fully operational and deployment-ready
Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of tooling systems, operational processes, and service delivery
Mentoring and supporting developing ROV Tooling Technicians through hands-on guidance and knowledge sharing
Maintaining accurate technical documentation while ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements and industry standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Qualification in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience supporting the inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair of ROV tooling equipment
Strong knowledge of ROV tooling systems, including torque tools, valve packs, cutters, LAOTs, and IHPUs
Sound understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, including fault diagnosis and schematic interpretation
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, documentation, and operational procedures
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform effectively in demanding offshore environments
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients, offshore crews, and project teams
Experience with electrical systems and fault-finding would be advantageous
