Finance Associate
Ashoka BrasilFinance Associate managing financial operations for Ashoka's Indonesia team. Supporting bookkeeping, financial reporting, and partnership reports while fostering a changemaker environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the financial operations including the following responsibilities:
- - Prepare partnership reports on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
- - Support monthly finance review preparations and monthly budget vs. actual reviews
- - Support budget planning, financial reporting, and other global finance requirements
- - Conduct monthly reconciliations with local offices
- - Manage vendor payments and reimbursements
- - Follow up on GSS allocations and reclassifications
- - Support cash requests and FTA processes
- - Prepare job requisitions and MOUs
- The tasks will be the same as those listed for the Globalizer team for ASPIRe Team
- Additionally, the teammate will support the monthly and annual bookkeeping of Ashoka Indonesia on NetSuite regarding ASPIRe allocations.
- 20% of your time will be dedicated to the Ashoka Indonesia team-building activities, team meetings and non-ASPIRe NetSuite support.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Accounting experience and practical skill (1-3+ years).
- Time management and multitasking skills.
- Able to work on own initiative, proactively and independently, and under minimal supervision.
- Strong team member.
- Communication skills with different audiences.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
- IT-savvy is a must.
- Familiar with Salesforce, NetSuite, and others.
