This role is based in their Long Island office, with flexibility to work from New York City as needed. The firm offers a collaborative environment and strong opportunities for professional growth.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Represent clients in product liability and asbestos-related litigation.</li> <li>Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, motions, and client communication.</li> <li>Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.</li> <li>Collaborate with team members on case strategy and litigation planning.</li> <li>Attend court conferences and manage an independent caseload with partner support.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.</li></ul><p><strong>Experiences:</strong></p><ul> <li>3–5 years of experience in asbestos litigation, including deposition and courtroom work.</li> <li>Admission to the New York Bar (New Jersey Bar admission is a plus).</li> </ul><p><strong>Other:</strong></p><ul> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and judgment abilities.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, co-counsel, and courts.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits:</strong><br><strong>Salary:</strong> $125,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience).<br><strong>Benefits:</strong> Health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and CLE support.</p><p></p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul> <li>Full-time</li> <li>Work arrangement: Hybrid</li> </ul>
