About the role
- Tax Senior role specializing in estate and trust taxation. Hybrid role with exceptional work-life balance and diverse client exposure. Perform technical tax compliance, review, and approval of complex tax returns focusing on estates and trusts. Manage client service tasks ensuring assignments completed accurately and within budgeted time. Advise clients with advanced technical skills. Supervise, develop, coach, and train Semi-Senior and Staff accountants. Review staff assignments and provide on-the-job training. Participate in review and evaluation processes of the Tax Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required. Master’s degree in taxation is preferred. A current and valid CPA license is preferred. 2-5 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in tax complexity, scope, and research. Must have estate and trust tax experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience supervising and directing the work of tax preparers.
