About the role
- Tax Manager role at a regional CPA firm specializing in tax services for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. Prepare and review complex tax returns for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, high-net-worth individuals, bankruptcy cases, trusts, and estates. Handle complex accounting and tax issues. Conduct both basic and complex tax research. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Identify and pursue tax planning and consulting opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration. 5+ years of tax experience, preferably within a public accounting firm. Must possess an active CPA license. Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without future sponsorship. Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Self-directed with an entrepreneurial work ethic. Ability to comprehend complex tax/accounting issues and meet deadlines. Demonstrated advanced competency in technical skills and work quality.
