The BDR is responsible for delivering exceptional client service by promoting the company’s document management solutions.
They take initiative to identify new business opportunities within their assigned territory or market and consistently meet sales targets and objectives.
Represent multiple leading brands in document management, workflow automation, and scanning/conversion services.
Act as a professional, full-service, single-source provider of paperless office technology and scanning solutions.
Understand the company’s complete range of services and offerings.
Actively listen to and assess client business needs.
Prospect and conduct discovery calls or meetings to identify client challenges and offer solutions.
Proactively reach out to current and potential clients to uncover new opportunities.
Create and deliver tailored presentations (via MS Teams, in-person, or other web platforms).
Meet agreed-upon sales targets and performance goals.
Analyze market potential within your territory.
Keep management informed through activity and results reporting.
Communicate regularly with leadership on customer needs, issues, and competitive activity.
Stay updated on industry best practices and service trends.
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at the C-suite level.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience
3–5 years of B2B sales experience in scanning/conversion services and the document management industry
Experience with automation platforms is a plus
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven sales track record
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational abilities
Skilled in project assessment and intake; able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of document processing, including imaging, indexing, and basic understanding of electronic hosting
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment
College degree or equivalent B2B sales experience in conversion services and/or ECM software (especially in Healthcare, SLED, Enterprise, or Federal sectors)
Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Some local travel may be required to meet with clients
