About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide counseling and therapy treatment remotely through telemedicine to patients of Community Health Center partners
Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapy modalities, including CBT, DBT, trauma therapy, addiction therapy, and related approaches
Engage patients in their treatment plans
Review and sign psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents
Maintain clinic records and document services in compliance with clinical, contractual, regulatory, and legal requirements
Conduct crisis intervention for individuals and families based on safety plans
Participate in case planning with the Multidisciplinary Team to determine appropriate patient disposition
Participate in individual and group supervision
Complete ongoing education, in-services, and training and demonstrate competency
Provide case management services supporting recovery and community reintegration
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active, unrestricted mental health license in the state of primary residence and California
Bilingual Licensed Independent Therapist qualification (LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT)
Comfortable working in a remote environment
Patient-first mindset
Trained and/or certified in evidence-based trauma modalities such as TF-CBT, EMDR, Brain Spotting, Somatic-Based Approaches, Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Attachment-Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Polyvagal Theory, or Family Systems (IFS)
Ability to sit for extended periods during working hours
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for computer keyboard, mouse, and office equipment
Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents
Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence
Sufficient hearing ability for phone calls or virtual meetings
Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity
Successful completion of comprehensive background check and drug screening as a condition of employment
