About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead analytical work to design, adapt, and test financial systems as federal policy changes
- Manage system descriptions and data elements to maintain a single source of truth
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Build consensus between accountants, budget analysts, and IT teams for system upgrades
- Author SOPs and training materials

Requirements
What you’ll need- U.S. Citizenship (dual citizens not eligible)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system design within a financial or enterprise environment
- Proven track record supporting the implementation, upgrade, or maintenance of large-scale financial management systems
- Demonstrated ability to investigate, document, and resolve complex data discrepancies across interconnected systems
- Excellence in translating technical system impacts into clear business terms for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Momentum Financials or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance
- Subject matter expertise in Accounts Receivable modules or federal accounting principles
- Familiarity with federal financial reporting structures (e.g., USSGL)
