About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead analytical work to design, adapt, and test financial systems as federal policy changes
Manage system descriptions and data elements to maintain a single source of truth

Build consensus between accountants, budget analysts, and IT teams for system upgrades
Author SOPs and training materials

Requirements

What you’ll need

U.S. Citizenship (dual citizens not eligible)
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and system design within a financial or enterprise environment
Proven track record supporting the implementation, upgrade, or maintenance of large-scale financial management systems
Demonstrated ability to investigate, document, and resolve complex data discrepancies across interconnected systems
Excellence in translating technical system impacts into clear business terms for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with Momentum Financials or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance
Subject matter expertise in Accounts Receivable modules or federal accounting principles
Familiarity with federal financial reporting structures (e.g., USSGL)
