About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development of economical and innovative structural solutions for demanding building projects
Preparation of structural calculations and verifications of load-bearing capacity and serviceability
Support of projects from the initial design concept through detailed/execution planning
Technical point of contact during projects
Development of constructive solutions in cooperation with architects, specialist planners and clients
Coordination of structural requirements within the design team
Responsibility for managing and providing technical guidance on individual projects, depending on experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering or a comparable discipline
Ideally, professional experience in structural design — motivated career starters are also welcome
Solid knowledge in concrete, steel or timber construction
Enjoyment of technically demanding tasks
Experience with common structural analysis and design software
Structured, independent working style and analytical thinking
Team player with strong communication skills and a high standard of quality
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
