Building Physics Engineer – Thermal Building Physics
ASCEngineer in thermal building physics for energy conservation and sustainability consulting. Assisting architects and builders with energy-efficient building practices at a growing company in Wolfsburg.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare energy performance calculations and compliance documentation in accordance with the Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) for residential and non-residential buildings, following DIN 4108-6, DIN 4701-10 and DIN 18599
- Thermal bridge calculations in 2D and 3D
- Preparation of applications and support during their implementation
- Advise architects and clients on thermal building physics and sustainability issues in building construction projects
- Participate in the development and implementation of concepts for thermal building physics and energy-efficient, sustainable construction
- Close collaboration with the in-house technical department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed university degree in civil engineering (m/f/d) from a technical university or university of applied sciences — alternatively: qualified construction technician with professional experience
- Certification as an energy consultant would be an advantage
- Structured approach to work and flexibility
- Enthusiasm for and enjoyment of teamwork
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
