Product Owner – Merchant Acquiring, Financial Schedule, Registration, Receivables Anticipation

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead product discovery to identify opportunities, risks and enhancements related to the merchant acquiring, receivables registration, settlement and receivables anticipation ecosystem
- Define, prioritize and manage the backlog aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
- Translate business needs into clear, executable user stories for technology teams
- Work cross-functionally across squads, ensuring alignment between Financial Schedule, Settlement, Registration, Reconciliation and Anticipation
- Monitor operational and product metrics such as settlement, reconciliation, chargebacks, availability, financial discrepancies and anticipation performance
- Ensure adherence to BACEN regulations, card schemes, PCI and registrars
- Coordinate integrations with registrars, receivables hubs, sub-acquirers, treasury, gateways, POS, anti-fraud systems and financial partners
- Map financial and operational processes, ensuring traceability and audit support
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and support smooth delivery across multiple squads
- Anticipate risks, remove impediments and foster collaboration among technical teams, operations and external partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Product Owner in payments, merchant acquiring or financial products
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar
- Experience with financial scheduling, settlement, receivables registration or receivables anticipation
- Experience with financial integrations and transactional flows
- Knowledge of the BACEN regulatory ecosystem and payment arrangements
