About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate deployments and infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
Collaborate with development teams to optimize release processes
End-to-end management of CI/CD pipeline automation
Create, operate and monitor production IT systems and their services (Observability)
Implement and monitor security policies and measures
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
Incident response and ensuring compliance (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR, BSI C5)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) or an equivalent degree with several years of professional experience
Knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
Experience automating systems and processes (e.g. with Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Knowledge in monitoring & observability
Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, Python, TypeScript)
Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team
Excellent German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1)
