About the role
- Serve as the subject matter expert in various domains of GenAI research and development (data pipelines, training methodologies, reinforcement learning, multimodal AI, personalization, knowledge representation and retrieval).
- Play a technical leadership role in designing, developing, and scaling novel algorithms and models from research prototypes to production-ready systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge research findings into products and maintain technological leadership.
- Monitor and analyze emerging trends in generative AI and share research contributions through publications at conferences and journals.
Requirements
- PhD/MSc degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning (ML), or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an AI researcher with a track record of applied research and/or product development (at least 2+ years actively developing GenAI technologies).
- Experience developing tools, libraries, and infrastructure for data preprocessing, model training/finetuning, and deployment of LLMs in research and production environments.
- Strong background in parallel/distributed computing on the cloud.
- Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, probability theory and statistics, natural language processing, computer vision, data wrangling and preparation, model evaluation and interpretation.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborating on code repositories.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: Proven track record of publications in top-tier conferences and journals.
