About the role
- Leads visual thinking, quality control, and team mentorship across keynote programs
- Accountable for creative problem-solving, modeling creative leadership, and managing project team leadership
- Drive creative excellence across design-centric workflows and deliverables
- Lead visual creatives, ensuring work products are useful, beautiful, and on-brief
- Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines within AG, representing Article Group to clients
- Maintain a pulse on emerging design trends in the event space
- Enhance design methodologies, processes, and output
- Be a trusted resource for designers around the agency
- Bring design skills to making and elevating work for clients
Requirements
- 8+ years of design experience with at least 3 years in a Creative Director or senior creative leadership role
- A portfolio that specifically showcases keynote and large-scale event presentations
- Experience working onsite at live events in a creative leadership capacity, with the ability to own the room when things go sideways during production
- Expert-level PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) proficiency, with working knowledge of Keynote, Google Slides, and Figma
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring designers, motion designers and other creatives across levels, including giving direct, actionable feedback that actually improves the work
- Cross-functional collaboration experience, specifically partnering with strategy and account leads
