About the role

  • Leads visual thinking, quality control, and team mentorship across keynote programs
  • Accountable for creative problem-solving, modeling creative leadership, and managing project team leadership
  • Drive creative excellence across design-centric workflows and deliverables
  • Lead visual creatives, ensuring work products are useful, beautiful, and on-brief
  • Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines within AG, representing Article Group to clients
  • Maintain a pulse on emerging design trends in the event space
  • Enhance design methodologies, processes, and output
  • Be a trusted resource for designers around the agency
  • Bring design skills to making and elevating work for clients

Requirements

  • 8+ years of design experience with at least 3 years in a Creative Director or senior creative leadership role
  • A portfolio that specifically showcases keynote and large-scale event presentations
  • Experience working onsite at live events in a creative leadership capacity, with the ability to own the room when things go sideways during production
  • Expert-level PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) proficiency, with working knowledge of Keynote, Google Slides, and Figma
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring designers, motion designers and other creatives across levels, including giving direct, actionable feedback that actually improves the work
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience, specifically partnering with strategy and account leads
