About the role
- Leads creative concepting, visual styling, design, and client workshares on assigned design projects
- Accountable for creative problem-solving, creative leadership, and managing project teams of designers, animators, and other cross-disciplinary creatives
- Drive creative excellence across design-centric workflows and deliverables with a focus in keynote business
- Represents Article Group to clients and owns accountability for creative decisions
- Demonstrate consultative listening to grasp client objectives and persuasive presentation of creative concepts
- Responsible for crafting and advocating for the integrity of the core creative vision with team members and clients
Requirements
- 6+ years of design experience with at least 3 years in an Associate Creative Director or senior creative leadership role
- A portfolio that specifically showcases keynote and large-scale event presentations
- Experience working onsite at live events in a creative leadership capacity, with the ability to own the room when things go sideways during production
- Expert-level PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) proficiency, with working knowledge of Keynote, Google Slides, and Figma
- Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring designers, motion designers and other creatives across levels, including giving direct, actionable feedback that actually improves the work
- Cross-functional collaboration experience, specifically partnering with strategy and account leads.
