Sales Manager – Wholesale, Third-Party Funds

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You will play a central role in expanding the wholesale and third-party funds business in Germany.
- You will acquire new distribution partners and sustainably develop existing relationships.
- Your contacts will include private banks, asset managers, family offices, fund-of-funds managers, savings banks, cooperative banks, and other professional distribution partners.
- You will represent high-quality fund solutions and investment strategies of an independent investment firm and act as a trusted counterpart at eye level.
- Together with Investment Management, Product Management and other specialist departments, you will develop sales approaches, identify market potential and actively contribute to the company’s further growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed banking training, degree in economics/business administration or comparable qualification
- Initial to several years of experience in selling investment solutions, asset management, wealth management or in a banking environment
- Ideally experience with savings banks, cooperative banks, private banks, asset managers or comparable financial institutions
- Good knowledge of capital markets and common investment products
- Enjoyment of new client acquisition and building long-term business relationships
- Strong communication skills, negotiation ability and a professional appearance
- Entrepreneurial mindset and the motivation to actively contribute to the continued growth of a successful investment firm
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Germany
