About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage cardiologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals and stakeholders through scientific education and exchange.
- Educate healthcare professionals on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
- Synthesize and communicate clinical and scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Attend and present at scientific congresses and meetings.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries in accordance with MSL compliance standards.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials through investigator site engagement.
- Support speaker training and scientific congress activities, including opinion-leader engagement, session coverage, booth support, and debriefs.
- Monitor and analyze scientific publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape in cardiometabolic therapeutics.
- Maintain clinical, scientific, and industry business expertise.
- Develop territory-specific opinion-leader and account plans.
- Communicate clinical and scientific information accurately and clearly.
- Document quantitative and qualitative accomplishments.
- Provide scientific support for Medical Information inquiries.
- Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
- Build and manage cross-functional relationships.
- Support Medical Affairs special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO required.
- Five or more years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL).
- Experience in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
- Medical Affairs industry experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with electronic CRM systems.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Ability to travel.
- Current, valid authorization to work in the country where the role is located.
