About the role

  • Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial concept and analysis through to deployment and monitoring
  • Master complex business logic within backend services to enhance and scale existing solutions
  • Advocate for industry best practices to alleviate technical debt and ensure long-term code health
  • Partner with teams across Arrive to grasp and refine requirements
  • Provide product support, participate in on-call duties, and manage rapid delivery in a DevOps-oriented environment

Requirements

  • Strong competence in Java or Kotlin (Spring Framework) for backend microservices
  • Exposure to front-end technologies like React and JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and management tools such as PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Looker
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Proven experience in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and database versioning tools like Flyway or Liquibase
  • Ability to work during CET/CEST business hours
