Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems
Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems
Build REST APIs and engineer microservices
Evolve systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity
Develop business logic with an emphasis on clean, maintainable code

Requirements

What you’ll need

Demonstrable experience in Backend development, with fluency in Java
Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other Engineering / Science disciplines
Quick learner with an ambitious and results driven personality
Excellent communication skills, including english fluency, verbal and written
Track record of building complex products that millions of people use in hypergrowth startups
Experience with Java 25
Experience with Postgres database
Experience with Spring Boot
Knowledge or experience with REST APIs, microservices, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration & delivery
