Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Public Administration or a related field;
Considerable experience in transportation operations focusing on multi-modal access, analysis, and safety.
Additional qualifying experience can be substituted for educational requirement.
A Master's degree or higher may be substituted for some of the experience requirement.
Experience in using Database Management Systems and GIS programming applications.
Conducting transportation engineering safety studies.
Intermediate work zone safety certification, International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certification, working knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, VAPM.
