About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with clients to make strategic decisions impacting their business solutions.
- Create future state architectures for clients at an enterprise scale.
- Ensure the integrity of technical designs and features within the enterprise architecture.
- Lead the development team; prior experience as a developer is required.
- Provide accurate estimates for project scopes and development timelines.
- Facilitate backlog management, including creation, maintenance, and planning.
- Conduct client discussions on best practices for enterprise web/software applications.
- Offer in-depth knowledge of platforms, design patterns, and enterprise solution practices.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill growth and ensure project success.
- Maintain productive relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring smooth project progression.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect.
- Breadth and depth of experience as an architect.

- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to instill client confidence in delivery capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with developers in an outsourced and in-house environment.
- Minimum of 7 years of enterprise-scale design and implementation experience in software development, with deep knowledge in at least two of the following technical disciplines: cloud computing, cloud-native, application development, and middleware.
- Proven Azure or AWS expertise; proficiency in both is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with enterprise patterns and principles (e.g., Microservices, EDA, DDD, N-Tiers).
- Competency in enterprise architecture, middleware, and data flow diagramming.
- Ability to audit and document existing architectures and ecosystems, identifying gaps, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience and understanding of modern API design patterns and principles.
- Able to define API specifications (preferably using Swagger).
- Proficiency with enterprise tools such as SQL, Service Bus/Message Queue, Caching, ESB, and ETL.
- Understanding of object-oriented principles (e.g., interfaces, composition, polymorphism).
- Understanding of different AI tools/models and what and how they accelerate job responsibilities
- Preferred background in consulting or client-facing roles.
- Preferred experience contributing to open-source projects or public repositories (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).
- Experience in an Enterprise Architect role at a digital or creative agency.
