About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines (using dbt, Airflow, Fivetran etc.)
- Transform raw data into clean, usable models using dbt (and AI for docs/tests)
- Manage and optimise data warehouses like Snowflake and Redshift
- Integrate different data sources (CRM, payments, games, etc.)
- Own initiatives for data quality improvement and monitoring
- Monitor performance, cost, and security on AWS
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to bridge product development, data, and operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years in Data Engineering
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS
- Expertise in ELT design and data warehousing best practices
- Expert in optimising Snowflake
- Proficient in dbt (macros, testing, modularisation)
- Excellent SQL and Python skills
- Good CI/CD and Git skills
- Experience using AI coding assistants
