Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing projects and serving as a client manager for airport design and construction projects
Providing mentoring to junior staff and QA/QC
Heavily involved in projects from design to completion
Managing project planning, regulatory approvals, environmental compliance, financial planning, legislative strategy, land acquisition, and design phasing
Marketing and client development
Staff supervision and mentoring
Quality control of project design and contract documents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
PE License required
8+ years' experience in the airport design and/or construction field
Airport design and project management experience a must
Aviation engineering & construction administration experience required
Strong knowledge of FAA advisory circulars related to airport design and the FAA grant process
Strong computer skills
Ability to lead and mentor existing staff and develop new staff as needed to support growth of the aviation group
