About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide subject matter expertise supporting data science, analytics, and machine learning initiatives
- Support analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Provide recommendations regarding analytical methods, statistical models, and data-driven solutions
- Support data preparation, transformation, modeling, and visualization activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to define analytical requirements and support program objectives
- Support development of dashboards, reports, technical documentation, and analytical deliverables
- Provide guidance on data quality, analytical methodologies, and data science best practices
- Contribute to modernization and continuous improvement efforts involving data, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, data analytics, data science, or related technical environments
- Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting enterprise-scale data, analytics, or technology initiatives
- Demonstrated experience performing statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, or other advanced analytical work
- Experience working with large, complex, and/or disparate datasets
- Proficiency with data analysis and programming tools such as Python, R, SQL, or similar technologies
- Experience with data visualization and communicating analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex analytical concepts clearly
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, business, and program teams in a federal environment
- Willingness to undergo the government issued background investigation process
