About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain internal controls.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Review journal entries, accruals, allocations, and intercompany transactions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
- Coordinate with subsidiary leadership to ensure consistency of accounting practices.
- Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors and coordinate annual financial statement audits.
- Identify opportunities to automate accounting processes and reduce manual effort.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance financial analysis, reporting, and workflow automation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Experience supporting external audits.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA designation preferred (preferred).
- Public accounting experience preferred (preferred).
- Experience with multi-entity organizations and consolidated reporting (preferred).
- Experience with partnership accounting and equity structures (preferred).
- Experience supervising accounting staff (preferred).
