About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for title remittance, claims, rate calculator, and ePayment systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams, to gather requirements and prioritize features.
- Create and maintain a well-defined product backlog with prioritized user stories and tasks, and ensure timely delivery of product increments.
- Work closely with developers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for all systems.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, identify trends, and gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
- Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, scrum ceremonies, and retrospectives, ensuring the team is aligned and focused on delivering value.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure teams to ensure that all products meet corporate policies and industry standards for security and privacy.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, and task completion using project management tools.
- Maintain clear and updated documentation related to product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, preferably in financial services, payment processing or title insurance industry.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple Products and priorities effectively.
- Strong understanding of title remittance, claims processing, rate calculations, and electronic payment systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification in Product Management or related fields (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, Monday.com).
- Basic understanding of product development processes and user-centered design principles.
