About the role
- Build, develop, and lead a highly engaged and performing QA team
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to discuss career progression and performance
- Lead formal performance reviews and advocate for team compensation and promotions
- Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe environment
- Mediate interpersonal conflicts and organize team-building activities
- Assess team skills, identify gaps, and collaborate with People Team on hiring and training
- Support technical candidate assessment and recruitment process
- Manage team capacity and forecast future hiring needs
- Partner with Product and Account Managers to align resource allocation with project priorities
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for the team
- Monitor workloads, address and resolve blockers, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards
- Facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders
- Report on key team metrics to leadership
- Support onboarding new talent and contribute to a culture of continuous feedback and learning
Requirements
- Experience leading, developing, and managing engineering or QA teams
- Ability to conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback
- Experience advocating for compensation and promotions

- Experience mediating interpersonal conflicts and organizing team-building activities
