About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with transformer design engineers at OEMs to specify insulation systems and influence design decisions
Support both dry-type (VPI) and liquid-filled transformer applications
Engage directly with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to solve technical challenges
Travel across the US, Canada, and Mexico to build relationships and support customers on-site
Work alongside sales to strengthen customer engagement and uncover new opportunities
Identify emerging trends and bring forward new application ideas and market insights
Support technical problem-solving, testing interpretation, and performance optimization
Participate in industry groups, standards discussions, and technical forums

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in transformer design, manufacturing, or engineering (typically 3–5+ years)
Bachelors or above degree in Electrical Engineering or related major
Hands-on understanding of transformer systems and how they are built
Ability to work directly with technical stakeholders in customer environments
