About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan across North America
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, end-users, and channel stakeholders
  • Expand relationships within EV and transformer markets
  • Re-engage underpenetrated transformer accounts and uncover new opportunities
  • Build relationships with engineering, procurement, product development, and executive stakeholders
  • Partner with Application Development, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Technical teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of sales, account management, business development, or commercial leadership experience
  • Experience in electrical infrastructure, power distribution, transformers, EV technologies, industrial motors/generators, utilities, smart grid technologies, or data center power systems
  • Demonstrated success creating and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Ability to travel throughout North America (approximately 50%)
  • Existing OEM, utility, transformer manufacturer, or electrical infrastructure relationships (preferred)
  • Experience influencing product specifications or design decisions (preferred)
  • Experience selling through distributors while managing OEM relationships (preferred)
  • Strong prospecting and hunting mentality with a record of generating growth
