About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, analyze, and optimize US employee benefits programs
- Analyze benefits data to assess utilization, cost-effectiveness, and competitiveness
- Design and recommend benefits programs based on market trends, employee needs, and organizational objectives
- Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Manage vendor invoices with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators
- Administer benefits enrollment and claims processes
- Coordinate leave-of-absence and workers’ compensation processes
- Prepare communication materials and conduct employee briefings
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefits programs and policy changes
- Conduct audits and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex benefits data and model cost scenarios
- Attention to detail for accurate calculations and compliance tracking
- Proficiency with HRIS, payroll and benefits administration software such as UKG, ADP, or Workday
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees, HR teams, and vendors
- Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR, finance, and management teams
- Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and ADA
- Experience administering health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, leave programs, and wellness initiatives
