About the role
- Lead design, implementation, testing, and support of PTC Windchill solutions
- Guide and mentor development teams to achieve technical and functional goals
- Build customizations, extensions, and integrations (CAD tools, Change Objects, BOMs, Parts, Documents, Effectivity)
- Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and maintain Windchill environments and supporting software
- Plan and execute system upgrades, data migrations from legacy systems, and integration strategies
- Conduct gap analyses and advise on data cleansing, preparation, and migration best practices
- Propose high-level PLM solution designs to improve product development processes
- Act as Windchill Architect lead, introducing innovative approaches to solve client challenges and drive business growth
- Define and implement software testing procedures to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Independently install, customize, and integrate software solutions as needed
- Translate complex technical solutions to fulfill business requirements and mitigate risks
- Participate in coding and programming across the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working with PTC Windchill and Windchill APIs
- Strong programming experience with Java/JSP
- Deep hands-on knowledge of PTC Windchill 11.1 (or later versions)
- Consulting experience working directly with clients to design and deliver solutions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise software solutions
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Experience with Migration (Legacy to Windchill or Windchill to Windchill)
