About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define Arch’s enterprise AI technology vision and serve as a senior technology advisor across the organization
- Guide enterprise AI technology choices, target-state architecture, platforms, and strategic partnerships
- Evaluate emerging technologies with high-value potential
- Prepare Arch for emerging AI technologies over a three-year horizon
- Evaluate and pilot high-value emerging AI technologies
- Advise on enterprise AI standards, platforms, architecture, and data requirements
- Lead build-versus-buy evaluations, partner selection, and AI platform strategy
- Define architecture for GenAI and Agentic AI, including RAG, LLM/SLM orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails
- Translate AI strategy into scalable, secure, cost-effective, compliant engineering solutions aligned with business outcomes
- Architect and govern multi-agent workflows, complex orchestrations, RAG, classical ML services, and hybrid AI architectures
- Collaborate with Enterprise AI, IT, Data, Analytics, and Segment Technology teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, and/or software engineering roles
- Proven ability to evaluate emerging technologies, build-versus-buy options, strategic partners, and AI platforms
- Expertise in GenAI, agentic AI, RAG, LLM/SLM orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails
- Strong executive communication and influence, with the ability to translate complex technology decisions into business terms
- Experience partnering across AI, IT, Data, Analytics, Product, and business teams to deliver enterprise solutions
- Experience architecting multi-agent workflows, complex orchestrations, classical ML services, and hybrid AI solutions
- Experience in financial services; property and casualty insurance experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with insurance workflows, including underwriting, pricing, claims, distribution, and operations
- Understanding of insurance core platforms and enterprise ecosystems, such as Guidewire and Workday
- Experience working across Azure, AWS, or GCP AI and data platforms
- College degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent practical experience
