About the role

  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
  • Review and debug code to ensure the software is of the highest quality.
  • Document development phases and monitor systems.
  • Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.

Requirements

  • Preferably at least 5 years of work experience in software development, including 3 years in Python
  • Knowledge in Python 3, and familiarity with Django 4.2 or later web framework.
  • Experience with Postgres.
  • Can read/review/optimize/debug large code bases and give suggestions on how to improve/refactor.
  • By following good practices of software engineering.
  • Proficiency in using code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API and RPC services.
  • Proficient understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Good communication skills in English, a team-oriented mindset, and a strong work ethic.
