About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for building and operating our cloud-based data platform
- Develop robust data pipelines for ingestion and processing
- Optimize data models and SQL queries
- Ensure our AI applications scale reliably to support a rapidly growing fleet of remote cameras
- Design secure network architectures between cloud platforms and remote IoT devices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of backend development experience in Python or Go
- 5+ years experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment (AWS, Docker)
- Experience with cloud networking and security - VPC, DNS, VPN, PKI
- Provision compute resources, scaling and optimization
- Strong software engineering skills; knowledge of best practices, testing, and deployment
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems (bonus)
- Strong data analytics & modeling & ML skills (bonus)
- Experience in managing IoT devices (bonus)
