About the role
- Develop and lead the company’s annual financial budgeting process, working closely with the CFO and business leaders
- Create, enhance and maintain monthly budget vs. actual expense reports, including variance analysis, assessment of business impact, and executive-level insights
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial presentations to executive committees and cross-functional forums (e.g., Investment, Strategy, Commercial), in coordination with the CFO
- Perform financial assessments and in-depth analysis of potential opportunities and projects, evaluating risks, returns, and implications for the company’s financial results
- Develop financial models and detailed cash flow analyses to support strategic initiatives, investments, and capital allocation decisions
- Monitor, manage and report KPIs, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and relevance for senior management and the CFO
- Ensure strong cost control and accuracy in managing project expenses within the approved budget framework
- Support and enable C-level decision-making on strategic projects by delivering high-quality financial insights, scenario analysis, and clear recommendations
- Partner with the commercial team to support business cases by providing quantitative analysis, forecasts and prioritization insights to achieve expected outcomes
- Prepare, structure and present high-impact financial materials for the Board of Directors, tailored to different areas and strategic topics, ensuring clarity, consistency and decision-oriented communication
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field; 3+ years of experience; prior experience with private equity funds is a plus
- Cash management, financial accounting and corporate finance competency
- Strong work ethic

- Hands-on, proactive and resilient approach to navigate between Aqua, PortCo and minority shareholders in a flexible environment

- Excellent financial knowledge (both theoretical and day-to-day/practical)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
