About the role
- Accelerate value creation across Aqua and its portfolio companies by identifying high-impact business opportunities and designing, deploying, and scaling AI-powered and technology-enabled solutions that drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, margin expansion, and EBITDA improvement.
- Combine strategic judgment with hands-on execution to ensure initiatives progress from insight to implementation and deliver measurable results.
- Focus on tangible financial impact, sustained adoption within portfolio companies, and development of repeatable frameworks that institutionalize AI-driven value creation across the investment ecosystem.
- Own end-to-end delivery — from opportunity discovery and hypothesis generation to solution implementation, adoption, and measurement of business outcomes.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in AI, data science, or analytics roles with a proven track record of driving measurable business impact (beyond model development).
- Demonstrated ability to identify, structure, and execute AI initiatives that improve EBITDA, operational efficiency, or top-line growth in mid-market or enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in product environments, leading both discovery and delivery cycles and building solutions that generated measurable business impact.
- Ability to translate investment theses into AI-enabled business cases and deliver end-to-end results, from opportunity mapping to measurable outcomes.
- Strong background in data engineering, automation, or applied machine learning, with emphasis on business applications rather than academic modeling.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and managing multiple portfolio companies simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts in clear business and financial terms.
- Desirable:
- Previous experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a Value Creation team, ideally in a hands-on execution or operating partner capacity.
