About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations across systems
- Develop and maintain advanced, matrix, and composite Workday reports and calculated fields
- Administer Workday security and conduct access reviews
- Configure, optimize, and maintain Workday business processes and condition rules
- Monitor and triage Workday configuration help desk tickets
- Partner with Finance and HR to deliver automation and AI solutions
- Liaise across Finance, HR, and Risk on Workday configuration and compliance
- Develop and deliver training on automation and AI tools such as Claude
- Support CloudPay–Workday implementations from planning through go-live and stabilization
- Maintain project status and documentation in ClickUp or a similar tool
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders
- Provide Workday troubleshooting and escalated support across modules
- Identify and champion automation and process-efficiency opportunities
- Expand Workday expertise beyond integrations to support broader team needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience designing, building, and troubleshooting Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and REST/SOAP web services
- Proficiency creating and maintaining advanced, matrix, and composite reports and calculated fields for Finance and HR
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday security groups and domain/business process policies
- Experience conducting access reviews aligned to least-privilege principles
- Ability to build, edit, and optimize Workday business processes and condition rules
- Experience monitoring and triaging configuration tickets with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting skills across Workday modules
- Experience scoping and delivering automation/AI solutions and training non-technical staff on tools such as Claude
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration across Finance, HR, and Risk
- Experience supporting payroll or third-party system implementations from planning through go-live and stabilization
- Proficiency maintaining project status and documentation in ClickUp or similar work-management tools
- Continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to learn Workday areas beyond integrations
- Able to work remotely with occasional in-office work and required meetings outside normal business hours
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant Workday and/or systems-integration experience
- Preferred: payroll integrations, governance/compliance, professional services/accounting/financial services, Workday Pro certifications, XML/XSLT, REST/SOAP, automation design, prompt-based AI tooling, ClickUp, ticketing systems, Microsoft Teams
